Karen Hodgson Tennis Coach

Welcome to my new website for Karen Hodgson Tennis Coach.

I am a Level 2 Accredited Tennis Coach and a Cardio Tennis Instructor, and I am well known at the Marke Wood Tennis Hub and other tennis venues in Deal for my enthusiasm for making tennis fun and accessible.

Following the renovation of the 4 park courts at Marke Wood Recreation Ground in Deal during Spring 2023, I am responsible for delivering a wide range of tennis coaching sessions there on behalf of 'Tennis For All', the coaching provider for Marke Wood Tennis Hub.  Additionally, I run the Free Park Tennis programme at Marke Wood Park for which I am a volunteer Tennis Activator.   

I am now excited and delighted that I have been appointed as the coaching provider for the soon-to-be opened, refurbished Connaught Park tennis courts in Dover.  All my Connaught Park tennis sessions are bookable here, through my own coaching website. Additionally, I am very happy to be delivering a school tennis outreach programme in the local area, in association with the East Kent Community Tennis Programme which is funded by the Tasso Foundation in association with RMG Associates.  The funded programme is enabling me to deliver over 120 hours of quality, engaging, curriculum tennis lessons across four primary schools and two sennior schools in the Dover Deal area during the academic year for 2025 / 2026.
