Junior and Mini Members are eligible to enter the Avondale Championships.

Brief Description

The Club Championships are played throughout the summer months.

Once the draw has been published players organise their own matches at times convenient to themselves, however, the finals are played on the last weekend in August (see below).

U10, U12, U14, U16, U18

Boys Singles

U10, U12, U14, U16, U18

Entry Deadline:               28 April 2025

Entry Fee:                           £3.00 per tournament

Finals:                                  30 -31 August 2025.   You will be allocated a day/time.

Match Formats

U10*, U12 and U14 matches will be played using the Fast4Tennis Rules. (Learn More About FAST4 Tennis | LTA)

*U10s play with green balls (may be borrowed from Kathy/Jamie with prior arrangement). Serves may be underhand from half way between base and service line if required.

U16 and U18 matches – 2 full sets and a match tie break if one set all

Entry Process: (We recommend reading the Guidance Notes attached as we have changed the entry process)

1. Log in to: LTA - Tennis for Britain using your Clubspark login.  (We recommend using a PC or phone/tablet in landscape mode to see the full screen)
2. Search Avondale using the Search Bar at the top of the page and select the Avondale Junior tournament.  (Club Championships Entry Form - Juniors).
3. Open the tournament and click “Enter”.   You should only be shown the tournaments you can enter – you may enter more than one age category if you are able.

A minimum of four entries per tournament is required for the tournament to take place.
