Safeguarding
From 1 October 2018, all British Tennis Registered Venues have been required to meet five minimum standards as part of their British Tennis Venue Registration.
This has been a positive move and one that has helped support venues in creating a safe, accessible, enjoyable and welcoming environment for everyone.
One of the standards is with regard to safeguarding and our policy can be found here
We also have a policy on the use of the changing rooms in the Pavilion at Plovers Rise.
A copy of our Consent and Emergency Contact form can be found here. This should be completed by the parent/guardian of any child who is involved in any Club trip or event, including league matches.
As an LTA registered venue, we have a Welfare Officer in place, who is someone who has undertaken specific training in order to be able to carry out the role.
Ed Bradford is the Club's Welfare Officer. Please contact Ed if you have any safeguarding or diversity and inclusion concerns. Ed's details can be found here. There is an established process in place for reporting such concerns.
