The summer season ended with twelve very competitive players enjoying an afternoon of tennis with plenty of laughter and exciting rallies.

With an even number of ladies and men a draw was held for partners to play mixed matches. Four games were played with our partner and then four against, with sudden death deuce in play!

After each round the two highest scores were announced. Helen managed to stay in first place throughout the tournament and win the ladies trophy with 28 games. John took the lead for the men in the first two rounds but was overtaken by Adam who was the eventual winner with 26 games. 

The final scores were Julie 13 games, John 23, Anne 16, Eldrin 14, Helen 28, Adam 26, Lyn 16, Nick 24, Jo 27, Mike 15, Kate 22 and Josh 18.
