There are numerous opportunities to play social tennis during the year.

Mix-Ins

In 2024 the mix-ins will be as follow:

EVENINGS: Monday evening at 6pm and Wednesday evening from 6.30pm.  Evening Club Mix-Ins run from  Wednesday 10th April 2024 to 11th September (tbc).  We are actively trying to get two more of our courts lit, so that evening mix-ins will be able to continue through the winter. 

DAYTIMES: There are two daytime mix-ins each week on a Monday and Thursday morning from 9am to 11am, which run all year.   There will also be Sunday morning mix-ins from time to time: Saturday February 25th and March 23rd from 2-5pm, all members welcome.  Over the summer there will be further weekend mix-ins and American tournaments.

Mix-in timings are as follows: Monday morning 9-11am, Monday evening 6pm until dark, Wednesday 6.30pm to 10pm (with floodlights after dark, BBQ and drinks), Thursday morning 9-11am.

The Monday and Thursday Mix-Ins are run by club members and the Wednesday evening and Sunday Mix-Ins by a Club Coach.

Box Leagues

The box league continues to operate.

About 70 Club members compete in a singles ladder type system. It runs over a period of a couple of months and involves up to eight singles matches against similarly skilled opponents. The promotions and relegations at the end of each round ensure that players of the same ability are usually in the same box and this has led to an overall league containing players of all ages and abilities. This means that if you want to join there will be an appropriate box that is right for you! If you want to join or want more details, please contact the organiser, Jon Monkcom.
 
Club Tournaments

Each year we run singles tournaments throughout the summer, and doubles tournaments on one day - ladies, men, mixed and vets see the coaching tab for dates this year.  Sign-up is through the website.  The final of each category will be played on Sunday 15th September 2024.

League Tennis
 
The Club runs a number of teams in both the Summer and the Winter Hampshire Leagues with considerable success.  We are always looking for new team players.
