There are numerous opportunities to play social tennis during the year.

Mix-Ins

In 2026 the mix-ins will be as follow:

EVENINGS: Monday evenings at 6pm and the coaches' mix-in on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm.  Evening Club Mix-Ins run from  Wednesday 15th April 2026 to 9th September (tbc).   Monday evening play continues until dark, Wednesday 6.30pm to 10pm run by the coaches (with floodlights after dark, BBQ and drinks).   We are still actively trying to get two more of our courts lit, so that evening mix-ins will be able to continue through the winter. 

DAYTIMES: There are two general daytime mix-ins each week all year round on Monday and Thursday morning.  The Monday mix-in runs in two sessions from 9am and from 11am, with coffee and cakes at the mid-point.  On Mondays from 11am there is a low minumum standard applying.  Please contact Mike Croft on 07710 780990 if you are in any doubt about playing.

There are also ad hoc weekend mix-ins from time to time. 

Box Leagues

The box league continues to operate.

About 70 Club members compete in a singles ladder type system. It runs over a period of a couple of months and involves up to eight singles matches against similarly skilled opponents. The promotions and relegations at the end of each round ensure that players of the same ability are usually in the same box and this has led to an overall league containing players of all ages and abilities. This means that if you want to join there will be an appropriate box that is right for you! If you want to join or want more details, please contact the organiser, Jon Monkcom.
 
Club Tournaments

Each year we run a men's singles tournaments throughout the summer, and ladies singles and doubles tournaments on one day.  Please see the tournaments tab for the dates this year.  Sign-up is through the coaches.  The final of each category will be played on Sunday 14th September 2025.

League Tennis
 
The Club runs a number of teams in both the Summer and the Winter Hampshire Leagues with considerable success.  We are always looking for new team players.
