The re-surfacing will start on the 6th January and is expected to take 5 weeks, during which time no courts will be available. Bad weather may delay completion, but we will keep you up to date as the work progresses.

Once the courts are completed they will be painted with lines only. Phase 2 of the work will take place later in 2020, when an artificial surface (Tiger Turf) will be laid over the asphalt. Please rest assured that the asphalt has to be renewed before the artificial surface can be laid, as the current asphalt is both too deteriorated and insufficiently porous for an artificial surface to be laid on it.  This work will be done two courts at a time for 2-3 days only, so will not interfere unduly with play.
