In order to make a booking you need to be registered with Clubspark. For club members the user ID that you used to join/renew is the one to use, i.e either Clubspark id or your LTA, Facebook, Google id.
If you are making pay-and-play bookings, you will need to create a Clubspark login to allow you to book and pay for a tennis court.
The booking module is available directly through the website, or you can use the Clubspark Booker App on your mobile device.
Court booking guidance and rules
- Courts may be booked up to 2 weeks in advance for Club Members; Non-members 1 week.
- Court booking is restricted to maximum 1.5 hours.
- Court booking is restricted to 2 sessions in any one day.
- Court Booking sessions are available in half hourly slots from 8am up to 10pm
- Please delete your booking if you have to cancel your game.
- Please lower the nets and lock up the clubhouse/court gate after use.
Digital Gate
- Our new digital gate means that when a court is booked, Clubspark will generate a code to grant you access to the courts. The code generated will be unique to each member
- The unique code for each member will always stay the same but will only grant you access at times that you have a court booked
- The code will let you enter the courts 5 minutes ahead of your time and will work throughout the length of your booking
Floodlighting
- Our floodlights are now controlled online via Clubspark
- If you book a court at a time when floodlights would be required, you will need to pay £1 per 30 minutes on court to cover the floodlight cost (floodlight tokens used to cost £1.50 per 30 minutes)
- Floodlights will then come on automatically 5 minutes before your booking time and will switch off 5 minutes afterwards
- Do not use the manual floodlight switch if you have asked for floodlights online as the online system will override this
- If you are using the manual switch (which should only be done for open sessions and matches), please make sure the lights are switched off
- A reminder that court 4 does not have any floodlights
Ball Machine
- You can now book our ball machine out via the court booking system - please book both a court and the ball machine in order to secure both for the period that you intend to use the machine
- Using the ball machine costs £5 per hour and is payable when you make the booking
- The ball machine is stored in the cupboard in the back left corner of the clubhouse along with a bucket of old balls to be used with the ball machine
- Please unplug the machine before removing from the cupboard
- Please be careful when removing and replacing the machine to avoid breakage to the machine itself or the charging cable
- The ball machine takes x hours to recharge so if you can see someone else has booked the machine that day, please leave x time between your booking and theirs.
Please note the rule for members playing with non-members (if NOT booked onto our pay-and-play court). "No one may be admitted as a guest on more than four occasions in any calendar year." (reference Constitution 16.3).
This rule does not stand for pay-and-play bookings. If you book via the pay-and-play system, you can book as many times as you like.
Please make a payment of £2 per adult / £1 per junior into the black box in the clubhouse, labelled 'Guest Fees/Ball Machine' if you are playing as a 'guest' of a member and are not using a pay-and-play booking. Thank you.
