Play
Social Tennis
KBS Tennis Club endeavours to offer opportunity to all members to be able to play regularly with a variety of players. As an open and inclusive club, we offer several open social sessions which all members can attend to play some tennis, typically doubles, against other members.
These sessions are a great opportunity to socialise within the club at the same time as getting some match practice and testing out your tennis skills.
- Tuesday 9am-11am: Senior Men's Open Session
- Wednesday 6:30pm-8:30pm: Women's Open Session
- Thursday 6pm-10pm: Men's Open Session
- Sunday 10:00-12:00: Mixed Club Morning
If you are nervous about attending one of our social sessions, feel free to email kbstennisclub@gmail.com and we can organise for you to meet one of our friendly members prior to attending!
Competing
KBS Tennis Club enters several teams in both the Winter and Summer Oxfordshire Babolat Leagues. This sees team players competing against other clubs in doubles matches. We currently have several teams competing in the Dunlop League. These Include:
- Men's A, B, C and D (competing at weekends)
- Women's A, B, C and D (competing at weekends)
- Mixed A (competing at weekends during the summer)
- Men's Midweek (competing on Wednesdays/Thursdays)
- Women's Midweek (competing on Wednesdays/Thursdays)
- Mixed Midweek (competing on Wednesdays)
If you would like to get involved in our teams or find out more, please email Justine Cardy, our match secretary, at kbstennisclubmatchsec@gmail.com.
Pay and Play
KBS Tennis Club is now pleased to be able to offer pay-and-play at our Club.
Pay-and-Play allows non-members to book our courts for a booking cost. Courts cost £3 for 30 minutes.
To book a court:
- Select 'Book Court'
- Select a date and time that you would like to book (courts can be booked 10 days in advance)
- Choose the length of your slot before clicking 'Continue Booking'
- Create a Clubspark login via either your email address, an LTA account, Facebook, Google or Microsoft
- Complete your booking following the instructions on screen
- Once the booking is complete, you will be given a code which will grant you access to the courts via our digital gate
Pay-and-Play court booking is currently possible only on our non-floodlit court and there are certain times when pay-and-play courts cannot be booked (although there are few of these times). We are continually reviewing our offering.
Note: Please only wear trainers or tennis shoes when on court
