A warm welcome to Kintbury Tennis Club

Kintbury Tennis Club welcomes players of every standard. Whether you're just beginning or already playing at a high level, we have team play, club sessions and coaching to suit you.

We've got members from all over West Berkshire, not just in Kintbury. Members come from Hungerford, Newbury, Chilton Foliat, Inkpen, Hamstead Marshall, and even from outside the County to be part of our lovely club. We've got three fantastic tennis courts, all exceeding the specifications set by the LTA, and all with County standard floodlights, attesting to the fact that we aim to deliver the best possible facility to our members.

We actively encourage beginners to get started and to get better, as well as just to have fun playing with their friends and family. Our regular club sessions are open to everyone. We have club sessions on Wednesday (from 6:30 pm), Saturday (from 10am) and Sunday mornings (from 10am). There's one court available on Wednesday evenings. Outside of club sessions, there are plenty of times when the courts are free for your use. To see if the courts are free today, to book a court, and to contact other members to play against, you can visit the booking page

We cater for strong players too. We've got three men's teams, one ladies' team and two mixed teams, and our 'A' teams regularly come out on top of the league, and we always do our best in whichever division we play. We also do our best to socialise and provide warm hospitality for our opponents once the game is over.

If you're just starting out then our coach is available to help you to improve. However, if your sole intention is to have fun playing with your kids there's plenty of court time at the weekend when you can turn up and play.

We also run several social events through the year, including family tennis days and quiz nights. And if you join before our Open Day at the start of the season, British Tennis Members are automatically entered into the draw for the chance to get some tickets at Wimbledon. So there's plenty of reasons to get out those rackets and join us.

As a club, we are also members of the LTA, and our local Newbury & District LTA, so you can be sure we keep up to date with rule changes and provide opportunities for match play.
