About the Club
Leverstock Green Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly and welcoming club located in the historic and attractive village of Leverstock Green on the eastern edge of Hemel Hempstead. The club was established in 1961 and now has over 350 members.
We aim to provide friendly and competitive tennis regardless of age or ability. We have 11 courts across three different surfaces - clay, artificial grass, and hard courts. Four courts are floodlit, providing year-round play. We offer social and team tennis throughout the year, in addition to regular in-house tournaments and leagues.
We offer a comprehensive coaching programme seven days a week, facilitating both group and individual sessions. We have a lively and ever increasing junior section from age 4 upwards.
Our clubhouse offers changing room facilities, a kitchen and a licensed, subsidised bar. As a club we offer a comprehensive social calendar in a safe and secure venue for all our members. The club gained Clubmark status in July 2011.
