On Sunday 4th June the Club held a mixed doubles tournament called the Atkinson Trophy. Which is in memory of Chris and Fred Atkinson who were amongst others founder members of the Club back in 1960.

Six mixed pairs battled away in a round robin tournament, which lasted over two hours. After many long rallies the winning pair finally got over the finish line. Congratulations go to Nicola Thomas and Alan Higby who just came out as the winners
