The 2017 Llantwit Major Tennis Club Championships has begun!

Tournament Format: 

• All tournament draws are knock-out format with a consolation draw. If you lose your first match you will be placed into a consolation draw, i.e. everyone is guarenteed two matches.
• All matches are to be the best of 3 sets. If both players agree before the start of the match then the 3rd set may be played as a championship tiebreak to 10 points rather than play a full set. 
• Matches must be completed by the round play-by dates as follows:

R16 to be completed by Sat 19th August
Quarter-Finals to be completed by Sat 26th August
Semi-Finals to be completed by Sat 2nd September
ALL Finals shall be played on Sat 9th September (schedule to be announced).

• It is the repsonsibility of all the players to make contact with their opponents. Failure to complete a match by the scheduled play-by date (above) will result in both players/teams being scratched from the draw. If there is a genuine reason why a match cannot be played within the scheduled time then please contact the tournament referee 
• Players must provide their own tennis balls to play their match. New Balls will be provided by the club for all finals. 
• Once a match has been completed please record the result on the draw in the Tennis Pavillion. Online draws will be updated periodically.
