Social tennis is a mainstay of the club. New adult players are able to mix in with the regulars and enjoy no-pressure social doubles, or singles play if courts are available, at clubnights in a relaxed and welcoming environment.  Junior players who can play full court tennis are also invited.  All members young or old can book a court and play as often as they wish (subject to court availability) – courts are free of charge for club members.  In the Winter the cost of floodlights during social sessions is covered by the club.

Current adult social tennis sessions are as follows:

• Tuesday 6.30pm mIxed social tennis 
• Wednesday 10am-12pm Over 55s (vets) organised pairings
• Wednesday 6pm-8pm Ladies squad doubles coaching (team practice)
• Thursday 2pm-4pm ladies doubles bat and chat
• Friday evenings 6 - 8pm mIxed social tennis 
• Saturday 2pm-4pm The Saturday Social - last Saturday of every month March - October
