Can you give a couple of hours each month to help manage, promote or grow our club? There is a huge amount of work to do that often goes unnoticed, but each of our volunteers is highly valued and is essential to the smooth operation of a successful club. Volunteering in itself brings many rewards including self-esteem, building a CV or even adding UCAS points. Whether its contributing to a sub-committee or helping with the catering at one of our frequent social events, we’d be grateful for your contribution.  Please get in touch if you feel you would like to lend a hand at a time that suits you.

Juniors aged 13+ are encouraged to become Tennis Leaders and join the coaching team on court once a week and help out with the mini players. This might include coaching, umpiring children’s matches or leading some fun games in a coaching session. Tennis Leaders accumulate points which are redeemable from the Tennis Wales reward scheme and of course all hours banked can contribute to Welsh BACC, DoE awards or UCAS points.  More experienced and committed Leaders will be encouraged to go on to take their Level 1 Coaching award.  Contact Vale Tennis Academy if this interests you.
