10 of our tennis players in school year 2-4 played in a friendly 'Team Challenge' match against our friends at Princes Risborough. 

This was our first away match since COVID hit. Sadly with no easy access to toilets, we're unable to enter any teams into the local leagues at the moment. It was so good to see 20 children playing singles all at the same time! The children played a total of 98 matches in just under 2 hours. There were many close fought matches, with great sportsmanship being shown throughout. The eventual winners were Long Crendon with 52 match wins to Risborough's 46.

A big thank you goes out to all the parents that supported the event, particularly those who umpired and supervised the matches. This made a massive difference to the children's experience, especially for those who were playing their first ever matches!
