On Saturday at Long Crendon Tennis Club we hosted a friendly 'Team Challenge' match against our friends at Princes Risborough. The match was for children aged 8 & under (school year 2 & 3)

It was so good to see 16 children playing singles all at the same time. The children played a total of 70 matches! Unbelievably the match ended as a draw, 35 matches all. Everyone who represented their club earned themselves a medal, certificate and other prizes.

A big thank you goes out to all the parents that supported the event, particularly those who umpired and ran the matches. This made a massive difference to the children's experience, especially for those who were playing their first ever matches!

We are working on organising more of these types of matches in the not too distant future, so watch this space.
