Markeaton Park is Derby’s most visited park and is one of the most popular attractions in the East Midlands. It offers a place to escape from day to day living and city life and experience a little bit of countryside on Derby’s doorstep.
Part of the Markeaton Park offer is two hard surface tennis courts, which can be booked for one hour sessions.
The courts are open all year round, for all to use via online court booking and a pin code gate access system.
Tennis Court prices (prices from 1st May 2026)
- Weekdays £6.35 per hour
- Weekends £9 per hour
- Free 1-hour slots at 7am to 8am and 3pm to 4pm daily.
- All bookings must be made through ClubSpark.

Barclay's Free Park Tennis
We are looking at setting up Free Park Tennis on a number of our tennis courts. Are you interested in getting involved and become 'Free Park Tennis Activator' ?
