Park Tennis Derby

Welcome to Park Tennis in Derby with courts available at Markeaton Park, Darley Fields, Alvaston Park and King George V Playing Fields.

We aim to make tennis easily accessible for all.

All Tennis Courts are available to book online and accessible via a low-cost Pay & Play charge. The courts are locked and operated through an online booking system that provides an access pin code to open the gate. 

Select the park in the top right-hand menu (drop down) and visit the 'book a court' page for availability. If this is your first time booking a court, when you visit the online court booking you will need to register with a ClubSpark Account. 

Derby City Council have been working with the LTA as part of a government Parks Tennis investment programme to improve the courts at Alvaston, King George V and Markeaton to ensure there are good quality tennis courts available across the city to all residents. 

We then hope to work with partners to develop a mix of access and activty on the courts to open up tennis to more people.  Any revenue generated via court bookings goes back in to the project to maintain and refurbish the facilities for future generations.
