What a lovely walk we had.
What promised to be a rain sodden walk, actually turned out to be rather pleasant, not totally dry, but we didn't receive a soaking and that was a bonus!
We parked and set out from the Bickerton Poacher and made our way across the road and onto the trail that Rob and Zoe had previously mapped out and trialled the week before. It headed up through the woods and encircling Bickerton Hill offered some superb views over to Chester and beyond to Ellesmere Port. Further round the trail, we would have been able to take in some great views towards Llangollen and Snowdonia, but the drizzle put a stop to that! All too soon we made the descent back down towards the pub and a fine pint of frothing ale!
It was unanimously agreed to be a great success and future walks should certainly be organised. Well done R&Z, crack on!
