Marnhull Tennis Club enjoyed a fantastic day of competition as it hosted its Play Your Way to Wimbledon event under clear skies and in perfect conditions. After a series of exciting encounters, the men’s title was claimed by Tom Lee and David Stevens, while Louella Hamer and Camilla Bashaarat emerged victorious in the ladies’ competition. The new Sunday club afternoon is up and running! All members are welcome to turn up and have a hit while getting to meet other players.
Welcome
Marnhull Tennis Club welcomes all local and visiting tennis players, from beginners to county players, to our friendly club situated on the recreation ground off Burton Street in Marnhull, Dorset.
Much of our communication with members is done through this website, but we will also send out email updates regarding upcoming activities or significant news.
Becoming a Member
We are one of the most affordable tennis clubs in Dorset, with adult memberships starting from just £72 and junior memberships a mere £20. All members are able to book courts for free and take part in a whole range of activities, including:
- Weekly club sessions
- Club tournaments
- Team league matches
- Regular social events like fun days and season openers

New to the Club?
If you have just joined the club and want to meet some of the other members, we hold regular club sessions three times a week. These include evenings that are geared towards beginners as well as meetups for more experienced players. Head over to our What's On page for more information.
Booking a Court
Members can book courts using the online court booking sytem up to three weeks in advance.
Non-members and visitors can also book courts on a ‘pay and play’ basis for £8 per court per hour.
Coaching
Coaching is available from LTA qualified coach Graham Howell. Please visit the coaching page for more information, as well as details on adult and junior coaching courses.
Lost Property
Any items left on the court will be moved to the toilet for safekeeping. If it is not claimed after a month, the club may dispose of any unclaimed property as appropriate.
Using the Ball Machine
Our Lobster ball machine is available for members to hire at £5 per hour for adults and free for juniors. See the bookings page for more details.
