We've got lots of opportunities for competitive and junior tennis coming up in the spring, so now's the time to register your interest!
- The Tuesday after-school practice sessions for juniors are returning on April 1. Registration is now open on a first come, first served basis. Email Norma Amlot on dnamlot@icloud.com to reserve a space.
- April will also feature the annual Easter holiday coaching sessions for juniors. There will be three age groups available, and you can book onto one or more sessions from April 7-9 by emailing Norma Amlot on dnamlot@icloud.com.
- If you are interested in playing match tennis and aren't already doing so, please get in touch with the club through marnhulltennisclub@gmail.com. We will be fielding two teams in the local Shaftesbury League, with practice sessions taking place throughout February.
- We are also looking to set up a doubles box league for our members to enjoy some friendly competitive play within the club. This is open to all club members, all you need is a racket!
- Don't forget that the club's AGM is taking place on March 7 at 7pm. Everyone is welcome to come down and take part.
Welcome
Marnhull Tennis Club welcomes all local and visiting tennis players, from beginners to county players, to our friendly club situated on the recreation ground off Burton Street in Marnhull, Dorset.
Much of our communication with members is done through this website, but we will also send out email updates regarding upcoming activities or significant news.
Becoming a Member
We are one of the most affordable tennis clubs in Dorset, with adult memberships starting from just £60 and junior memberships a mere £15! All members are able to book courts for free and take part in a whole range of activities, including:
- Weekly club sessions
- Club tournaments
- Team league matches
- Regular social events like fun days and season openers

New to the Club?
If you have just joined the club and want to meet some of the other members, we hold regular club sessions three times a week. These include evenings that are geared towards beginners as well as meetups for more experienced players. Head over to our What's On page for more information.
Booking a Court
Members can book courts using the online court booking sytem up to three weeks in advance.
Non-members and visitors can also book courts on a ‘pay and play’ basis for £8 per court per hour.
Coaching
Coaching is available from LTA qualified coach Graham Howell. Please visit the coaching page for more information, as well as details on adult and junior coaching courses.
Using the Ball Machine
Our Lobster ball machine is available for members to hire at £5 per hour for adults and free for juniors. See the bookings page for more details.
