Court Booking for Members
Club members can book a court online here. By booking a court, you agree to the following rules:
- All users of the court must wear suitable non-marking shoes with good grip. Training or running shoes with ridges or bars and black soles must not be worn.
- The courts are locked. You will be given the code for your court once your booking is confirmed. Please ensure you lock the court at the end of your session.
- Please ensure you release any booked court that you find you cannot use as soon as you know that to be the case to give others the opportunity to play.
The ClubSpark software allows booking for up to 3 weeks in advance.

Useful Information
Floodlights
The courts are equipped with floodlights that are available for use from 07.55 until 22.00 every day. At 22.00, they will automatically switch off. Use of the floodlights is currently free.
The ON button is housed in a stainless-steel box on the nearest Village Hall wall to the courts. The key to thix box can be found in the adjacent lockbox, which can be used using the same number combination as the court. Each time you press the lights on, they will run for one hour. After one hour, 2 of the 4 lights will go off, and you will have 10 minutes to pack up (5 minutes if you play to the final time of 22.00). If you booked a second hour, you will need to press the ON button again before your first hour runs out.
Most importantly, ensure the key is back in the lock box before the final 2 lights switch off.
Toilet facilities
We have a lock box on the inside of the court, same combination as the courts themselves, in which a key for the side door of the Village Hall will be held to provide access at all times to toilet facilities. Please ensure you lock both the door and lock-box after use.
Parking
If you are visiting from out of the area, there is ample free parking at the village hall next to the courts.
Ball Machine Booking
Our Lobster ball machine is available for members to hire at £5 per hour for adults or free for juniors.
Firing from a pre-loaded hopper of 50 special balls, the machine's functionality enables variations of speed, height and court placing. Great practice (and fun) for players of any level. Please do not use ordinary tennis balls as they could damage the machine.
Before first hiring the machine you will need instruction on use. This is available from Tom Lee and requires meeting at the pavilion to go through the necessary steps of access, set up and replacement.
Please contact Tom well in advance to arrange a mutually convenient day and time on marnhulltennisclub@gmail.com.
If you are familiar with the use of the ball machine and you have booked a court contact Tom Lee on marnhulltennisclub@gmail.com or Helen Butler on 01258 821767 to book the machine.
Please give 24 hours' notice if possible. Please pay £5 by BACS using reference 'BM'.
