Notes from the coach

An LTA Youth Mini Orange and Green coaching course. Played on either a Mini Orange tennis court, with adapted mini orange tennis balls, or a full court with adapted mini green tennis balls. This session is aimed at children aged 9+ years old. Players will be split into age and ability appropriate groups, and will take part in fun games and activities that look to build on their basic motor skills, such as balance, agility, and coordination, along with using the skills they have learnt in their earlier years to enhance their tennis skills! Teamwork and communication skills will also be developed during engaging and exciting games, with Tactical thinking and decisions making also being developed for the older players
