Matt Hillman Tennis

Get, Set Girl is an initiative I am running, set up in 2022 in partnership with Sport Birmingham, to get more girls aged 11-16 years old engaged in sport, and continue to be engaged with sport as they get older. The project is open to all girls that fall into this age bracket, from all backgrounds, abilities, area's in South Birmingham. 

The project aims to keep girls engaged with sport by providing fun and affordable opportunities to play sport, and also upskill individuals through courses and experiences to provide them opportunities to both volunteer and gain careers in sport. 

Each Girl that takes part in the project will be able to:

• Take part in a weekly tennis coaching session at one of our venues
• Purchase a custom hoddy to showcase being part of the project
• Take part in dedicated half termly events, where girls will play tennis and take part in other fun and social activities
• Gain volunteer opportunities at our venues, and events in Warwickshire
• Take part in courses, such as Tennis Leaders courses to further develop their skills
