Our first ever MTC Golf fundraising event was held on Thursday 8th May at Ormskirk Golf Club - what an amazing day for  our inaugural Mawdesley Tennis Club Golf competition!! 😃🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️⛳️.

The weather was amazing! ☀️😎. The golf course looked fantastic and everyone, from those helping out on the day to all the players had a lovely day. There were 16 teams of 4  battling it out to win, including some ‘nearest the pin’ competitions .

Ormskirk Golf Club looked after us all really well and the food was spot on. 😋👍

Lots of money was raised for our lovely tennis club including the raffle, thanks to everyone’s generosity for purchasing raffle tickets, donating prizes,  playing and helping organise the event! The money raised goes towards the rejuvenation of our tennis courts to keep them in a great condition to play on, hopefully for years to come. 

Everyone left very happy! 😃😎👍🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️ and we think it could become an annual event, along with our Cricket competition 🤔👍😃
