Important Information

Our NEW tennis programme takes effect from Monday 8th September;

Mondays;

Walking Tennis (9.30am - 11am)

Junior Coaching (4pm - 7.30pm)

Cardio Tennis (7.30pm - 8.30pm)

Tuesdays;

Adult Coaching (4pm - 7pm)

Club Night (7pm - 9.30pm)

Wednesdays;

Junior Coaching (3.30pm - 5.30pm)

Ladies P & D Matches will take place on a Wednesday evening (5.30pm - 9.30pm) from the beginning of May until the end of July.

Thursdays;

Tea and Tennis (2pm - 3.30pm)

Adult Team Practice (Invite only) at Bodmin Leisure Centre (additional fees apply) 7pm - 9pm. Sessions run from October until April.

Mens P & D Matches will take place on a Thursday evening (5.30pm - 9.30pm) from the beginning of May until the end of July.

Sundays;

Junior P & D Matches will take place on a Sunday morning (9.30pm - 12.30pm) throughout the year as they have both a summer and winter league.

Lastly there will be Pop Up Pickleball sessions and these will be added to the programme on a weekly basis. These are likely to take place on a Saturday and will vary between AM and PM sessions.

All sessions are posted on a weekly basis to the main WhatsApp group, so if you wish to attend any, please TICK the appropriate poll so the coaches have a rough idea of numbers for each session.

Introduction

Menheniot Tennis Club is a friendly village club formed in March 1998 and officially opened their courts on the 7th June 1998.

The club has two floodlit carpet courts and boasts great opportunities for social and competitive tennis, along with a great junior and adult coaching programme. If you are looking for a fitness class, Cardio Tennis is run once a week.

We have always tried to keep Membership fees to a minimum and this year is no different.

Our fees for 2025/26 are as follows:

Adult membership: £55
Joint membership (2 adults from same family): £100
Juniors (Up to Year 6): £12.50
Juniors (Years 7 - 11): £17.50
Student (over 16 in further education ): £22.50
Family membership (2 adults plus u16s from same family): £110

For any non-playing parent who wishes to play with their child who is in the coaching programme, we are pleased to offer a half price membership fee (£27.50) to give you the opportunity to access the courts with your child for tennis practice.

Non members: Pay and Play - £2.50 per person per hour (contact the club in advance by emailing the above address for booking and instructions)
