Wet weather

Wet weather policy

Lessons will continue in light rain and will only be cancelled in the event of heavy/constant rain or unsafe condition deemed unsuitable by the Lead Coach of the session. Coach@riseleytennisclub.co.uk should be contacted if there are any doubts over the weather.

Junior Term-Time Courses
If, due to bad weather, 1 class per term is cancelled, it is the Head Coaches discretion whether an additional session at the end of term will be scheduled to make up the session.
If further classes are cancelled due to bad weather, Michael Fairburn Coaching may be able to offer the opportunity to attend a class running on another day of the week if places are available. If there are no suitable classes or re-organisation is not possible, the session will be lost and will not be carried over to the following term.

Adult Courses

Junior Holiday Camp
If, due to bad weather, 1 day of the camp is cancelled, the opportunity to attend a following camp day running later on in week if places are available will be organised via the Head Coach or coach@riseleytennisclub.co.uk
If this is unable to be organised, no refund, make up lesson or voucher will be offered.
If heavy rain is predicted for the whole camp, 50% of the value of the camp will be credited to the following term or refunded as we do not have the facilities for wet weather activities. 50% of the booking cost will be lost if unable to be transferred to the next term.
