Mirfield Tennis Club run a number of events through the year.
Family Fun Day- 28 May, 2pm - 5pm
Join us for a family fun day of events, competitions and games. All funds raised from this event go directly to our Junior Fund to support the development of juniors at Mirfield Tennis Club.
President's Cup - 13 May, 12:30pm for 1:00pm start
The President's Cup will be a Tie Break Tens (doubles) tournament, which is simply a 10 point tie-break between teams. Pairings for teams will be selected randomly (possibly seeded) and teams will initially compete against each other within their own group. Entry to under 18's at the discretion of the committee.
Entry fee is £6, to be paid on the day during registration. Deadline for entries is midday, Friday 12th May, which will give us a bit of time to sort out pairs and tournament schedule. Registration promptly at 12:30pm for 1:00pm start.

Open Day - 4 June, 2:00pm to 5:00pm
The club will be holding an open day to promote tennis, and the club, within the community. Please tell your friends and neighbours, not only those who have kids, but adults too - the Open Day is for everyone. There will be lots of fun activities and promotions throughout the 3 hours from 2:00 to 5:00pm.
Strawberry Tournament - 1 July, 12:30pm for 1:00pm start
Our flagship annual event for club members, the Strawberry Tournament is loosely based on American Mixed format.
- Partners drawn at random
- Round-robin format within groups. Number of groups will depend on entries
- 8 game matches (4 games with own partner, 4 games with opposition partner)
- Individual game scores are recorded
- 4 Highest scoring men and 4 highest scoring women go through to play semi finals and finals
Cakes, strawberries and cream, drinks, refreshements and ice creams available on the day!
The deadline for entrie is midday Friday 31st June to Dave Edwards (Secretary) and there is a £6 entry fee (pay on the day) per person. Please arrive no later than 12:30pm for 1:00pm start
Blackberry Bash- 26 August, 12:30pm for 1:00pm start
This late summer event is a fun tournament for players of all abilities.

Open Mixed Tournament - 9 September, 12:30pm for 1:00pm start
Mirfield Tennis Club will be hosting there annual Open Tennis Mixed Doubles Tournament on Saturday 9th September.
Entries are open to members and non-members. Entries must be in mixed doubles pairings. Format of the tournament to be group stages with semi-finals and final formats.
Entries to be submitted before Friday 8th September at midday to Dave Edwards (Secretary)
The entry fee is £12/pair and please arrive on the day at 12:30pm, for 1:00pm start.
