Great British Tennis Weekend - 27th April 2 to 5pm
TENNIS OPEN DAY – free tennis
🎾 Fun-filled afternoon for the whole family!
- Perfect opportunity to try out tennis, learn new skills, and make new friends!
- Alongside the coaching clinics, there will also be a doubles exhibition with club players!

President's Cup - Saturday 10th May
The President's Cup will be a Tie Break Tens (doubles) tournament, which is simply a 10 point tie-break between teams. Pairings for teams will be selected randomly (possibly seeded) and teams will initially compete against each other within their own group. Entry to under 18's at the discretion of the committee.

Strawberry Tournament - Saturday 5th July
Our flagship annual event for club members, the Strawberry Tournament is loosely based on American Mixed format.
- Partners drawn at random
- Round-robin format within groups. Number of groups will depend on entries
- 8 game matches (4 games with own partner, 4 games with opposition partner)
- Individual game scores are recorded
- 4 Highest scoring men and 4 highest scoring women go through to play semi finals and finals
Cakes, strawberries and cream, drinks, refreshements and ice creams available on the day!
Blackberry Bash- Saturday 30th August
This late summer event is a fun tournament for players of all abilities.
- Partners are drawn at random
- Round-robin format within groups (number of groups will depend on entries)
- 8 game matches (4 games with own partner, 4 games with opposition partner)
- Individual game scores are recorded
- 4 Highest scoring men and 4 highest scoring women go through to play semi finals and finals
Open Mixed Tournament - Saturday 13th September
Mirfield Tennis Club will be hosting there annual Open Tennis Mixed Doubles Tournament on Saturday 9th September.
Entries are open to members and non-members. Entries must be in mixed doubles pairings. Format of the tournament to be group stages with semi-finals and final formats.
