LTA Level 4 Senior Coach Award in Development & Performance - LTA Accredited Plus 

Award Winning Coach 

Ben is a fully qualified Level 4 Senior Coach in Performance and Development, meaning he can coach players from club to regional level.

He is the Clubs Tennis Manager - He runs and organises all the coaching sessions throughout the year for all ages and levels.
 

He has worked with and coached many regional and county players at both junior and senior level. Previous Jobs include Head Coach at the University of Bath.

Ben also has an excellent coach mentoring scheme where over 50 Level 1 coaches & 20 Level 2 coaches have come through the junior coaching programme since 2008.

Award Winning Coach 

Tom is a multi award winning LTA Level 3 Accredited Plus Coach. He is the current LTA Avon Coach of the Year and has also been recognised by the LTA for his work with running inclusive tennis sessions (tennis opened up) and hitting high numbers of participation in the LTA youth girls scheme. 

Tom works at the club in a full time role and has built thriving adult, junior, performance and schools coaching programmes. He also leads the inclusive coaching programme at the club running sessions with a local SEN school. Another one of Toms passions is mentoring other coaches encouraging them to complete their L1 + L2 coaching badges. 

He is known for his high energy coaching on court and has a strong playing background.

Andy Gray 

LTA Level 3 - LTA Accredited Plus

Award Winning Coach

Andy leads the Thursday Juniors + Adults coaching at Nailsea Tennis Club.

Andy is a LTA Level 3 Accredited Coach. Andy won the Avon Coach of the Year Award for 2024 and was a national finalist. Having come through the clubs coaching programme and mentoring programme, Andy completed his Sports Degree at Exeter University.

Andy came back to coaching completing his level 3 in December 2023. Andy coaches across a few venues, but delivers groups and individual lessons at Nailsea Tennis Club.

He has expertise in cardio and strength and conditioning to go along with his Level 3 coaching badge.
