Walking Tennis

 

New Mills Tennis Club is running Walking Tennis sessions every Tuesday from 4:30 to 5:30 at:

  • New Mills Leisure Centre (autumn and winter)
  • The club's tennis courts (spring and summer).

These are free events and no pre-booking is required. Rackets and balls will be provided and participants people just need to wear training shoes. 

Walking Tennis is a slower version of the game, the ball can bounce twice, so that anyone can play it regardless of age or fitness level. From those who have dropped out of the sport they love due to injury, to those who believed they had hung up their tennis racket many years ago.
