Congratulations to our men’s and ladies first teams who had a super Sunday, both winning the Scottish Cup!

Both finals were held at Craiglockhart Leisure Centre in Edinburgh, where the men defeated local rivals Whitecraigs 6-3 and the ladies won a nail biting tie against last year’s winners Blackhall, 5-4. This is the first time the men have won the cup since 2005 and certainly the first time in a number of years that one club has won the men’s and ladies titles in the same year.

Thank you to everyone who came through to support - it really does mean a lot to our teams!

For those who couldn’t make it through, the Tennis Scotland photographer took some excellent photos which really captured the drama, particularly of the deciding ladies match which Emma & Heather won 7-6 6-7 10-7 to seal the win!
