We are open, following LTA guidelines
We are back after the very long lockdown, and enjoying our tennis more than ever.
We welcome all tennis players to these sessions no matter what your ability. We try to play doubles where possible but dependant on numbers singles or doubles will be played.
We play in most weathers - please contact us to come and join us for a free session.
We are grateful to Local Giving's Magic Little Grants for their support and very generous funding.
NEWTOWN TENNIS CLUB
Newtown Tennis is a well-established club with a thriving junior section and regular playing sessions for adults, mixed ages and youngsters.
Members and non-members are welcome to join the coaching programme and the courts are used regularly by schools and community groups; we have the only 4 court facility in North Powys. We are also an official Mini Tennis provider and are the Disability Tennis Centre for Mid Wales.
Newtown Tennis is always keen to welcome new players of all standards.
We have four tarmac courts all are available to members free of charge.
We have several 'Mixed In' Tennis sessions per week
Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 2:00pm
Friday evening from 6:00pm
Sundays 11:00pm
