Ben Collingwood Receives Special Commendation

Norfolk Tennis recognised the amazing reaction and skills of Ben Collingwood during the County Tennis Awards presentation on 4 June at Cromer Lawn Tennis & Rackets Club.

Twleve weeks ago, Keith Arnold was four games into a doubles match when he collapsed on court at Easton Tennis Centre. Ben was coaching on the adjacent court when he noticed Keith's situation.

Immediately he raced over to give Keith CPR, which he continued for 10 minutes, before using a defibrilator to continue working on Keith's heart.

See video below to hear Keith's heartfelt words of thanks to Ben.

Well done Ben and great to see Keith making such a good recovery!

Keith, and his wife Sally, organise the Winter League. Keith has played tennis in Norfolk for more than 50 years.
