Norfolk Tennis (Charity 1203480) exists to promote and develop tennis in all its forms across the county. While we receive guidance and partial funding from the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), we are an independent, volunteer-led charity dedicated to making tennis accessible, relevant, and enjoyable for all.

We align with the LTA’s national vision of “Tennis Opened Up” and strive to deliver it locally through grassroots development, inclusivity, and competitive excellence.
✅ Strategic Objectives
Expand Participation: Partner with the LTA, clubs, schools, and community groups to create more opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to play — and develop — in safe, welcoming settings.
Improve Communication & Engagement: Keep players, parents, and partners informed through clear, timely, and accessible communications across digital and print channels.
Support Competitive Tennis: Invest in county competitions and representative teams to ensure Norfolk performs strongly in the County Cup and other national events.
Develop Junior Pathways: Maintain a broad, inclusive junior programme that nurtures talent and aims to produce Top 50 nationally ranked players in every age group.
Ensure Strong, Inclusive Governance: Uphold professional standards in governance, promote diversity, and maximise funding through effective planning and partnerships.

Many are surprised to learn that nearly all our key roles are held by volunteers — passionate individuals balancing their commitment to tennis with work and family life.
Our total annual budget supports:
- 3 part-time roles (Performance, Marketing, Administration)
- Junior development programmes
- Club growth & inclusive initiatives
- County competitions
