Congratulations to Norfolk's Georgia Routledge who last week won the Para Standing World Championships (P3 Category) in Turin, Italy. It sounded like a pretty epic final with Georgia saving two match points before going on to win the match tie-break 10-8! 

It was a tough week of tennis with rain delays and playing on red clay, a surface Georgia has had little experience of playing on.

Coach Donna Andrews (right in photo) said " Georgia did so well and has been rewarded for all the training she had put in pre tournament, she is so grateful for all the help from everyone in Norfolk who have contributed to her success. Thank you to every single person and organisation who has donated money, time, facilities, or encouragement. You were all part of the journey and we cannot thank you enough. Georgia and Donna".
