Norfolk Men head down to Exeter on Thursday for this year’s staging of Winter County Cup. 

On Sunday the Norfolk based players had their final team training session at David Lloyd, the four pictured L-R of N Crawley(C), J Henery, T Fisher & A Watkinson will be joined in Exeter by K Jenkins(VC), F Withers, J Philpott, A McNaughton & J Henden, all whom are travelling from various parts of the country. 

Special mention to 16 year old James on being selected for his first Men’s County Cup!

The team begin group 4a verses Nottinghamshire on Friday with ties against Devon & Berkshire to follow over the weekend.
Captain Crawley is positive about the team, ‘having played Nottinghamshire at County Week this summer we know we have a strong challenge on Friday but we go into the event in good spirits after two good displays at last years Winter County Cup and at County Week this summer.’

Norfolk Ladies Team will be contesting Group 5b this year.

The team has a good blend of youth and exeprience,, including World Doubles No. 138 Maddie Brooks.

The Ladies will be playing on home soil at Easton Tennis Centre, with the action kicking off at 9.00am.
