Norfolk have been represented by three players at this year's Wimbledon:
Men's Wheelchair Singles/Doubles:
Ladies Doubles/Mixed
No.2 seed Alfie Hewitt has beaten Z.Ji (CHN) 6-1, 6-1 to reach the wheelchair singles semi finals and is back on Court No.1 with partner G.Reid for the doubles semi final against D.Caverzasch (ESP) and T.Oda (JAP). The pair are aiming to win the title for a 7th time.
Ben was unfortunate to be facing World No.1 T.Oda in Rd 1 of the singles event. The result going the way of Oda, 6-2, 7-5 with Ben showing his undoubted potential. Playing alongside D.Ward (GB) in the doubles the pair lost to Z.Ji (CHN)/S.Lysov (ISR) 5-7, 4-6
Olivia, who in recent years has reached the later stages of both the Ladies and Mixed Doubles. This year, after a good run leading into the tournament she was seeded 9 along with partner Tereza Mihalikova. Unfortunately the pair lost in Rd 1 to K.Rakhimova/A.Siskova 4-6, 1-6.
In the Mixed event partnering Henry Patten (GB) the pair lost to A.Molteni (ARG)/A.Muhammad(USA) 3-6, 4-6 in R1.
Not the Wimbledon Olivia was hoping for but the World No.27 has had a great season so far and we wish her well for the months to come.
