Introduction

Old Courthouse Recreation Ground is located in High Barnet. It is home to six tennis courts, which can  be booked via the Bookings tab above.

Originally a pasture with stables and a brewery, Barnet Urban District Council purchased the buildings in 1912 and the county court was held there till the start of WW1. The remainder of the estate was bought in 1923 and opened to the public the following year.

The park can be accessed via High Barnet station, on the Northern Line, or the following buses: 34, 84, 107, 184, 234, 263, 307, 326, 384, 389.
