Ollie Kirk Tennis is committed to prioritising the well-being of all children and adults at risk, promoting safeguarding in our club at all times, including all programmes and events we run. This Policy strives to minimise risk, deliver a positive tennis experience for everyone and respond appropriately to all safeguarding concerns/disclosures.

Reporting a Concern Procdure

Anyone who is concerned about the well-being of a child/ adult at risk, or has a disclosure of abuse or neglect made to them must:

Code of Conduct

We follow the LTA recommended code of conduct to ensure that we are a welcoming and safe club.  All members, volunteers and staff agree to:

• prioritise the well being of children and adults at all times and ensure that everyone is treated fairly and with respect

• be a positive role model and ensure there are clear boundaries between professional and personal lives.

• ensure we are creating a safe and inclusive environment both on and off the court where everyone is respected

• have relevant safeguarding policies in place that everyone is aware of and follows.  Ensure that staff have completed relevant safeguarding training and apply this to their work

• display high standards of behaviour

• ensure we have relevant consent for taking and using photos and videos.

• Take a personal responsibility for safeguarding and have an understanding of how to report a concern.
