The celebration dinner was a great success and enjoyed by all those who attended. The club welcomed the mayor, Rosie Radford, representatives from Oswestry Team Tennis, and past and present members of the club.

The first presentations were for the winners of the monthly social tournaments:

The next presentations were for the winners of the mens singles and doubles competitions, Matt was the only attendee to receive his award for the mens singles.

An award was then presented to the members of the Ladies 2nd team who were winners of their division in the Shropshire Summer doubles.

Finally a special award for the standout achievment in the history of the club was accepted by Eirian Jones and Josie Macrae(captain) on behalf of the ladies team who were crowned champions in 2015 winning the premier division of the Shropshire ladies doubles.

In recognition of her contribution to the club over many years, a bouquet of flowers was presented to one of the longest serving members of the club, Carol Slater.

A collection of club photographs and newspaper clippings was complied by Chris Whittingham and displayed at the dinner.
