Ladies 3rd draw second match

Oswestry Ladies third team's home fixture v Norton in Hales 3 on 28 April proved to be as competitive as it was atmospheric, with both teams battling hard in conditions that grew increasingly difficult as the temperature dropped. After two rounds the match remained finely balanced, with the final two tie‑breaks still in progress before time had to be called due to floodlights curfew.  In the true spirit of league tennis, both captains agreed that fairness should prevail, and settled on a draw. A sensible decision on a night when commitment was high but the weather and loss of lighting had the final say.
