Singles Ladder (open to men & ladies)

This is an opportunity to play Singles.

The objective is to challenge any fellow participator who is within your range on the ladder, with a view to beating them and moving up positions on the ladder. The top four on the ladder at 12th September will play off in a semi final to decide the finalists who are to play in the grand final on Club Finals Day on 27th September.

Each challenge will be the best of three sets, with the 3rd set being a super tie-break.

Challenges are played at mutually convenient times.

Mixed Doubles Handicapped

This is a tournament that everyone can play together on an equal footing.

It works on a handicapping system with each pairing given a handicap in accordance to its adjudged ability by having them start each game at pre-determined scores (-30, -15, 0, +15, +30 etc) to bring a level playing field (or court).

Each participator is to enter as an individual and the pairings will be drawn from a hat. Once the pairings are determined the handicaps will be set by a team of informed committee members. This pairing and its handicap will remain for the entire tournament until the pair is knocked-out, having lost a match.

Each match is to be organised between yourselves for mutually convenient times with target dates for each round to be played by. Play will start on 1st May 2026 and the Final will be played on Club Finals Day, Sunday 27th September 2026.

The tournament is competitive but fun so please do enter. It would be lovely to have a big proportion of our club members participating in this as it is an opportunity for us all to play with and against different players with differing abilities and every pairing will be playing on a level footing.

Men's Doubles

Each participator is to enter as an individual and the pairings will be drawn from a hat. The pairings will then remain the same throughout the competition.

Round Robin tournament with each round is to be organised between yourselves for mutually convenient times within pre specified play periods. Play will start on 1st May 2026 and the Final will be played on Club Finals Day, Sunday 27th September 2026.

Ladies Doubles
