Weekend adult group coaching Saturdays covering all the essentials!

Our Head Coach John runs the club group coaching programme and is also available for individual lessons. John has 25 years of coaching experience, both in the UK and abroad. John was Head Coach and Club Manager at Letchworth Tennis Club in Hertfordshire before spending several years in Taiwan and travelling the international junior circuit with his daughter., who reached the top 20 in the world as a junior. John is also a qualified tennis referee and an official adjudicator for Guinness World Records

Mini Tennis Group Coaching Programme

Appropriate equipment is provided for all courses
New players should take an assessment to ensure that they are placed in the group for them. Assessments are offered free of charge and can be booked in advance
Places can be booked after the start of term and new arrivals will be charged on a pro-rata basi

Our coaches!!

Sarah Thomas has played and loved tennis since a young age and played junior county tennis for Cambs. Sarah's coaching philiosphy is for players to learn and develop their tennis technique in a relaxed and fun way. Sarah is a passionate sportswoman who discovered her love for coaching when training as a tennis assistant. Since joining Papworth TC as a coach, Sarah has discovered a deep passion and love for coaching and loves working with the welcoming Papworth community
