Terms of Use

By booking and using Runnymede Park Tennis courts, you agree to comply with all terms and conditions.

1.1 Breaching any guidance or terms may result in cancellation of memberships, packages, and bookings without refund.

Annual Season Ticket Overview

 

2.1 Annual Season Ticket costs £38 per year and provides access to any of our five Park Tennis sites (one booking per day, maximum 1 hour).

2.2 All members must register via the ClubSpark system and book a court before playing. Floodlights incur an additional £2 per hour.

2.3 Memberships are valid for one year from the date of activation and payment.

2.4 You may not charge others to use your booking.

2.5 Coaching or non-tennis activities are not permitted under this pass.

2.6 Unauthorised coaching or non-tennis activity will result in cancellation without refund.

2.7 Membership fees are non-refundable in full or in part.

 

Pay & Play Overview

3.1 Pay & Play costs £5.25 per hour per court (maximum 2 hours per day). Floodlights incur an additional £2 per hour.

3.2 Players must register via ClubSpark and pay before playing.

3.3 Charging others to use your booking is prohibited.

3.4 Coaching or non-tennis activities are not permitted under Pay & Play.

3.5 Unauthorised coaching or non-tennis activity will result in cancellation without refund.

3.6 The refund window closes 1 hour before your booking start time.

3.7 Refunds may take 5–10 working days to appear via Stripe.

 

Booking Rules

4.1 Courts must be booked online before play; Annual Season Ticket holders can book up to 7 days in advance.

4.2 Bookers must cancel unwanted bookings promptly, even last-minute.

4.3 One booking per day is allowed (60 minutes to 2 hours).

4.4 Late arrival does not extend your booking unless amended online.

4.5 The Council may pre-book courts for coaching, events, free sessions, or maintenance.

4.6 The Council reserves the right to cancel bookings; notifications will be sent by email.

4.7 Some grounds close at dusk; check closing times before booking.

 

Court Rules

5.1 Smoking is prohibited on courts.

5.2 Dogs are not allowed on courts.

5.3 Wear appropriate sports clothing and clean footwear.

5.4 Close the gate securely when leaving.

5.5 Remove all items and litter after play.

5.6 Players and coaches must uphold respect and fair play principles.

5.7 Report damage to sport@runnymede.gov.uk.

5.8 Court playability depends on weather conditions.

5.9 Players use courts at their own risk and should act responsibly.

5.10 Coaching or hitting sessions (free or paid) are prohibited unless authorised by the Council.

5.11 Do not climb fences or tamper with gates or locks.

 

Weather Guidance

6.1 Use common sense; cancel and rebook if conditions are unsafe.

6.2 Do not play during red or amber weather warnings.

6.3 Avoid play during yellow warnings due to possible disruption.

6.4 Players use courts at their own risk and should prioritise safety.
