Our Head coach is Neil James who is an LTA level 3 performance accredited tennis coach and member of the British tennis coaches association. He grew up in the village joining the tennis club when he was 9 yr old and also playing for the football and cricket sections. He then went off to study Sports Science at University of North London where he captained the men’s first team. 

Neil has been coaching at the club now for 20 years where many high profile players started their journey including one who played on the British tour and many have gone on to represent the county at junior and senior level.  He captained the men’s first team who achieved runner up in the Premier Division & mixed first team who won High Wycombe & District mixed league for 9 straight years. Now at 45 the vets curcuit need to watch out ! 

​Neil is passionate about tennis, and is a patient and supportive coach to all levels of play.
