With only three matches left in the season, it all hangs in the balance for the Men’s team. The team are guaranteed to stay in division eight but are in a tough battle with Sodbury, with both teams vying for the top spot and promotion. Pensford and Sodbury are currently tied on 52 rubbers each, making this the toughest league the Men have played in for the last three years. 

The Bellamy’s have been stalwarts each week with Steve Bellamy currently fourth of all the divisions players. James Page also has an excellent record with four out of 6 matches won and he’ll be playing again this week (4th July). 

If possible get out and show your support for the Men’s and Ladies team each week. Matches start around 6:30pm. Alternatively join us in the Rising Sun pub post match for a cheeky drink to get the weekend started on a high (hopefully).
