Mini orange tennis is aimed at getting players into rallying, by this stage they should know all the shots needed to rally so we teach a lot of sending and receiving skills so they can effectively play with one another or a coach. Points will be added in at this stage as well. Typically will be in the boxes to learn control transitioning into a bigger court. Mini green tennis is aimed at full court tennis, the last step before yellow ball. Tactics begin to be added, court positioning and shot selection become important. Players should be able to rally full court with topspin, serve effectively into the box and be able to score and play a match on their own.
