A Rainy Twist: Celebrating 50 years of tennis excellence
RAIN FAILS TO DAMPEN SPIRITS
Ramsbury Tennis Club’s 50th celebration showcased resilience and camaraderie on 22 July as rain forced a last-minute move to the Memorial Hall. Originally scheduled as a garden event for 90 people at Upcot, the heavens had other plans that day.
Chairman Chris Wilson gave an inspiring presentation, tracing the journey of Ramsbury Tennis Club from small beginnings to its triumphant present, while radiating the essence of unity and hard work. Click HERE for the full speech.
Applause filled the air following three cheers to Ramsbury Tennis Club.
Young Andrew Luo was presented with the trophy for the Best Junior of the Year Award. A remarkable achievement.
The event proved that rain or shine, we’re not just a tennis club but a vibrant community thriving in togetherness.
