BOOKING RULES

Please read these Booking Rules

Members are kindly asked to carefully adhere to the following rules:

1.    Only reserve clay courts 1 & 2 if you are prepared to carry out the mandatory surface dragging/line brushing in time for the next member's booking to start punctually.

2.    If clay courts are selected for coaching it is the responsibility of the person or persons being coached to prepare the surfaces immediately after use.  Please do not expect the professional coaches to carry out this task on your behalf when the lesson ends.

3.     Members may book a court up to 7 days in advance. No more than two live bookings allowed at a time.

4.     For singles play book for one hour only. You may continue for a further hour providing no one has reserved the court.

The only exceptions are Club Tournament or Ladder competition matches where you may book up to two hours for singles. You may continue playing if no one has reserved the court.

5.     For doubles play courts may be booked for up to two hours.

6.     Do not use your playing partner or opponent’s name to book a consecutive second period. Do not ask the coaches or another member to book a court for you.

7.     Cancel your booking if you decide not to play for any reason including inclement weather.  It is as important to cancel a court as it is to make the booking. This enables others to play.

8.     Late arrivals. Should there be no one on court after 10 minutes of the booked time the court is considered free for others to play.

9.     Courts 1 – 4. These courts are primarily for adult members. Junior members not to use courts 1 - 4 or 6 & 7 after 6.30pm on weekdays.

Junior members are asked to observe the above and following regulations concerning booking and playing:

1)   Hotshot members may not book courts or play unsupervised.

2)   Junior members aged 12 and over may book and play on the courts unsupervised.

3)   A junior member aged 12 and over may play with an under 12 junior member, but only one.

4)   Junior members may not book courts 1 - 4 or 6 & 7 after 6.30pm on weekdays.

We also suggest younger members do not book clay courts 1 & 2 as they require extra dragging and line brushing.

Hopefully this clarifies the booking procedure and will result in everyone getting their fair share of tennis.
