Courts will be open for play 8th April

As the weather is warming up we are in the process of preparing the courts to get them ready for play. You will see people weeding, rolling and brushing the courts, so that we can harden them up to be ready to play on Mon 8th April. Club nights will resume from Thur 11th April at 6:30pm. Everyone welcome to come along and insluding any potential new members.

Memberships for the year are now payable and existing members need to have paid by 30th Apr 2024

Again Rattray will be offering group coaching to all ages run by Nicola Carrie please check out the coaching page for more information. Along with the usual coaching on a Wednesday, she will also be running a new programme of walking tennis. This session is down at a slower pace where people are only allowed to walk, using slower bouncing balls and the ball is allowed to bounce twice.  Nicola is also available for private lessons, her number is 07746138464.

The club is synonymous for being warm and friendly and always on the outlook for new members regardless of level, so why not give it a go.

About Rattray Tennis Club

Opened on Saturday the 7th of August 1920, Rattray Tennis Club remains at its original venue of Middle Road, Rattray. The club has historically competed in the local Strathmore League and further afield in the Perth & District League. Rattray Tennis Club joined the Lawn Tennis Association in March 2018.

For those who are not aware Rattray Tennis Club is located on Middle Road Rattray, interested people will be pleasantly surprised at the facilities for there are two floodlight blaes tennis courts, a well maintained clubhouse with a large meeting room ladies and gents changing rooms and toilets and a very nice kitchen.

The clubhouse was recently painted with new carpeting and vinyl’s laid. The club is open 7 days a week with club nights
being Monday/Thursday 6.30 -9.30pm, the club fields a team in the Strathmore & P&D leagues and Rattray Tennis Club is a member of LTA.

If travelling by car, there is plenty of on street parking outside the the club.  If you are travelling by bus to the tennis club, use the stagecoach 57 service (Dundee to Perth) and get off at the stop nearest the Balmoral fish and chip shop and walk back to towards Middle Road, PH10 7EL.
